Welcome!

When you search online for witchcraft or pagan content, you often find a lot of tutorials, educational information, and guides. All of that is great considering how accessible witchcraft and paganism have become in the last 30 years, especially with the rise of the internet. What you don’t see often, though, is a witch’s real life. It’s hard to find blogs and videos from a witch just detailing what they go through, what’s on their mind, and how they live their lives both as a witch and a person.

I hope to change that! Here ’round the cauldron, you’ll find educational content and guides, but you’ll also find my personal blog posts. You’ll find information about crochet (and patterns!), parenting, and mental health. There is more to me than my practice, and I am more than just a witch.

So hello, my name is Megan – it’s nice to meet you!

I have been a pagan witch for more than 15 years, bouncing from one practice to another until I found something that felt like home. I’m also a mother, an AuDHDer, a partner, and so much more!

  • Autumn Hangs Heavy in the Air

The air of Autumn hangs heavy in the air. The chill of the morning frost kisses my skin before the sun has risen in the sky. Amber and gold sprinkle the horizon – the colors of fall are arriving for their fleeting moments, soon to be overtaken with the barren stillness of winter.

I crochet. And like most people that crochet, I am addicted to buying yarn. It’s better for the environment if I buy what…

I constantly suffer from a feeling of homesickness, but why? It doesn’t matter where I am – even if I am at home – I still get the feeling of homesickness in the pit of my stomach. Now, it doesn’t happen every day, but it happens often enough that I used to think something was…

  • Be the Change

We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is…

  • Hiding in Plain Sight

Sometimes, practicing your craft and your faith will require hiding in plain sight. This can be for several reasons, but the most common is safety and professionalism. Now, I’m not talking about kids hiding things from their parents or guardians. That’s a different topic and one I will touch on at a later day. I’m…

  • Upcycling Candles

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy a good tealight candle. However, they’re very limited in their scents and colors. So, what’s a witch to do? Upcycle them, of course! This tutorial came about because my Nana was here visiting and made mention while we were in the store that she wanted some scented…
